Getting started

Studio Sentinel has two parts: a small macOS agent that runs on the Mac you want to monitor, and this iPhone/iPad app that connects to it over your local network.

Install and launch the macOS agent on your Mac Studio or Mac mini.
Make sure your iPhone/iPad and the Mac are on the same Wi-Fi or Ethernet network.
Open Studio Sentinel — your Mac is discovered automatically. Tap it, then tap Pair.

Frequently asked questions

The app can't find my Mac.

Confirm the macOS agent is running, that both devices are on the same network, and that you allowed Studio Sentinel's Local Network permission (iOS Settings → Studio Sentinel → Local Network). Corporate/guest Wi-Fi that blocks device-to-device traffic can prevent discovery.

What does Studio Sentinel Pro include?

Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks the AI Monitor, Charts, Process Monitor, and Alerts. It includes Family Sharing — no subscription.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open Settings inside the app, tap Unlock Studio Sentinel Pro, then tap Restore Purchase. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID.

Why is GPU utilization shown as an estimate?

Apple does not provide a public API for real-time GPU utilization on Apple Silicon. Studio Sentinel uses Metal device info and unified-memory pressure as a proxy, and labels these values as estimated.

Is my data private?

Yes. All monitoring happens directly between your devices on your local network — no metrics are sent to us or any third party. See our Privacy Policy.
